FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

The Reel Green™ Power Tie-Ins Program is available to support exploratory work for establishing new power tie-ins to the electrical grid at film locations. Small businesses working with the B.C. motion picture industry can access up to $10,000 to assess feasibility and prepare for implementing grid connections to help to reduce reliance on diesel generators.  Supported work includes:

– Assessing electrical capacity and infrastructure
– Engaging with utility providers (e.g. BC Hydro)
– Site planning, permitting, and preliminary design
